The Mystery of the Breastplate of Aaron and the Tabernacle

The Tribes of Israel were camped around the Tabernacle with the Levites representing our Sun and solar system. The other 12 Tribes were patterned in their camps in the form of the zodiac which began with Virgo (Naphtali) and concluded with Leo (Judah). This pattern of the Zodiac in a circle was also on Aaron's breastplate (Choshen) as well as on the floor in Solomon's Temple.

The breastplate also had two stars or shields (magen) in the form of four triangles that connected the stones belonging to those Tribes of Israel who were in the same brigade. The stones were arranged in a circular manner according to some writers. In the centre of the breastplate are the two stones of the Urim and Thummim. Movement of the triangular pieces and the lighting up of the different stones guided the priest in discerning the Will of God.

This was the mystery of the two mems (triangular shaped letters of the Hebrew alphabet). The ancient Hebrew Phoenician alphabet represent the male and the east-west or west to east shield with the triangular dalet letters (Shield of David and Abraham) and the Ashurit or Aramaic alphabet as the female with the triangular mems (Shield of Miriam and Sarah) that are north-south and south-north.

I hold that the original Jewish Tabernacle was built in concentric circles. The actual Tabernacle of the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies may have been in the form of a round Pyramid-shaped Tent. Whereas Solomon's Temple was built in the form of a Divine Man.

Thus the diameter of the Holy of Holies was 3 cubits and the circumference 10 cubits. The Holy Place which encompassed the Holy of Holies was 10 cubits in diameter and its circumference about 30 cubits. The 3 cubits represented the three attributes of the head Triad of the Sefirot and the 7 cubits represented the seven lower Sefirot. From the centre of the holy of Holies until the outer wall or court was 100 cubits in diameter and 314 in circumference. Thus the measurements for the Tabernacle radiates out from the centre in the Holy of Holies.
